She has been studying classical singing under the tutelage of Christiane Riel, the head of vocal sector, since 2014. She has extensive performance experience singing with National Arts Centre Orchestra, Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and Ottawa Music Company. She has performed choral masterworks under the baton of renowned conductors such as Pinchas Zukerman, Jack Everly, David Currie, Laurence Ewashko, Jordan de Souza and Duain Wolfe.

She has been chosen as Musica Embraïca’s Choral Director for 2018-2019 season. She has appeared in University of Ottawa’s Opera productions of Carmen and Marriage of Figaro. Her last appearance as a chorister at the National Arts Centre was in Harry Somers' Louis Riel Opera with the cast of Canadian Opera Company and NAC Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Alexander Shelley.

She has taken lessons in Alexander technique and Feldenkrais regarding body coordination and skills to relieve tension in different parts of the body to achieve ease in performances.

With individualized and structured lesson plans for her students, based on each student’s needs, she guides them through musical concepts and fun musical activities to reach their full potential. She empowers them to express themselves freely in a positive safe environment where they are encouraged and motivated to explore their capabilities, rise to the challenges, believe in themselves and achieve their goals.

Her incorporation of Alexander technique principles, movement-based theories in music education (activities from: Dalcroze, Orff and Kolady), theory, solfège and ear-training skills has helped her students gain a strong musical foundation to grow, learn faster and more effectively.

She has experience teaching music to students with special needs and finds it an immensely rewarding and meaningful experience as a music educator to show the beautiful world of music to them as well as to guide them step by step to grow and reach their full potential.
