Lisseth Ocon, is originally from Nicaragua, but has been living in Ottawa for almost 5 years.
Lisseth began her music career when she was 9 years old and now has 33 years of experience teaching music in Nicaragua and Canada. She has studied piano, guitar, flute, recorder, ukulele, bass, violin, accordion and saxophone. She is also a singer and choral director. Making and sharing music with others is her passion.
Before coming to Canada she was a music teacher in Hosanna Christian academy and Nicaragua Christian academy in Nicaragua, where she taught theory and multiple instruments to children in pre-kindergarten to 6 Grade in elementary schools and grades 7 to 12 in high schools.
Lisseth also runs a non-profit organization in Nicaragua, called Charity Ocon.
